So, they appear to have finished sanding. Which is nice. There's the odd scraping sound and occasionally a vacuum cleaner. Because it is important to clean up scaffolding? Who the hell knows?
But is gets more offensive, than the grinding and vibrating LOUD noises.
Let's not talk about the fact I have no privacy during the day, or the fact I have to keep the doors shut, making the lounge stuffy, and the odd noises that make me think there's ranid animals in there.
But lets do talk about the fact that at 7:50 this morning, 3 of them stood outside my window and carried on a very long and involved conversation ranging from a doco that's going to be on tv3 tonight, to George, whose father just died. (not the grey's anatomy one.)
So, my question for you is, would it be rude of me to poke my head out my very wide open window, and say: "guys, i understand you have to work, and am glad you are making the building pretty, but seriously, could you move the morning debrief to one of the 50 cafes within walking distance?"
