Biggest News Story: The Tsunami

Most annoying news story: Euthnasia campaigner Lesley Martin - get over it. She broke the law. Euthanasia is illegal, like it or not. You don't change the law by breaking it. It's unfortunate, but there it is.

Most compelling story: As above (The Tsunami) Also, did the SIS spy? The American Presidential elections, and Ahmed Zaoui

Moment of the year: The enough is enough rally. Because it made people have to have an opinion.

Best Sports Team: The Black Sox

Most Disappointing Sports team: The Black Caps test team, The USA Dream Team

Best Moment in Sport: The Olympic Triathlon finish line

Person of the Year: Tariana Turia. Because she stayed true to what she believed. Whether you liked it or not. Runner Up, Paul Holmes - he's annoying, but he's keeping it interesting!

Funniest Moment: The Ma'a Nonu eyeliner thing

Biggest Yawn made good: Local body elections - except for Auckland's

Biggest Yawn: Shrek the sheep. God people, it's a sheep.

Best TV Programme: Still mourning the loss of SATC, so Arrested Development.

Worst TV Programme: Anything involving New Zealand celebrities in 'reality'.
